Life is Strange 2 - Standard and Collector’s Edition Full Season Physical Release Announcement

Square Enix Ltd. have announced that the full season of Life is Strange 2, the award-winning narrative adventure that’s inspiring real-world conversations about race, gender equality and much more, is set for a boxed release in Europe and North America. The company will introduce a Standard and Collector’s Edition; and both will include the complete season of Life is Strange 2, plus a variety of exclusive content designed by the Life is Strange team at DONTNOD Entertainment in partnership with Square Enix External Studios.

Life is Strange 2 Episode 4 revealed

LONDON, UK (August 19, 2019) – The Diaz brothers’ journey towards a new life in Mexico reaches a turning point in Life is Strange 2, Episode 4 ‘Faith’! From Square Enix External Studios and Raoul Barbet & Michel Koch’s Life is Strange team at DONTNOD Entertainment, the second season of the award-winning franchise continues on August 22nd, 2019.

The saga picks up in a Humboldt County, California hospital room where Sean, gravely wounded, wakes up to find that Daniel is still missing. Under arrest, and facing tough questions from law enforcement, Sean is running out of options. Only quick thinking and unexpected allies can secure his freedom.

“In Episode 4, we re-join Sean at his lowest point. The disaster that separated him from his brother has scarred him for life, and he is lost, alone and in quite a bit of trouble,” said Michel Koch & Raoul Barbet, Co-Creative Directors of Life is Strange 2. “Sean is already at a breaking point, and now faces some of the toughest situations in his life as he desperately searches for Daniel, whose absence hangs heavy over the whole episode. LONDON (May 9, 2019) – SQUARE ENIX® has announced that Life is Strange™ 2 Episode 3: “Wastelands”, the next entry in the critically-acclaimed and award-winning franchise, is available now.

The third episode in the all-new five-episode season of Life is Strange 2 from Square Enix External Studios and Michel Koch and Raoul Barbet’s Life is Strange team at DONTNOD Entertainment, is out now on XBOX ONE®, the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC.


In Episode 3: “Wastelands”, the long journey from Seattle to Mexico continues a few months after their dramatic escape from Beaver Creek, as Sean and Daniel Diaz arrive in the Redwood Forests of California.

The brothers experience life on the fringes of society as they reunite with Cassidy and Finn, befriend a close-knit community of drifters and runaways, and begin working on an illegal farm in an attempt to scrape together enough money to continue their journey.

New friendships, relationships, and mentors influence Sean and Daniel, encouraging them to learn more about themselves and each other. Their resolve is tested once again, as friction arises between them. Uncertain about their once united purpose, will their strong bond survive?
