Latest video from ANOTHER SIGHT explores character development and gameplay

Milan, Italy – August 9th, 2018 — As ANOTHER SIGHT approaches its launch date, the Italian developer behind the game, Lunar Great Wall Studios (https://www.lgwstudios.com) is delighted to share the latest behind-the-scenes video concerning the development of the game. This latest video discusses the advantages of having dual protagonists within the game as well as exploring the symbiotic relationship which develops between Kit and her mysterious cat companion, Hodge.

Marco Ponte, CEO and Founder of Lunar Great Wall commented: “Having two protagonists, one of whom is blind, has really opened up how we use not only the environments in the game, but also how the two characters interact. As the game is played, it is this relationship which drives forward the narrative of the game and provides increasingly diverse and challenging gameplay.”

Another Sight is launching later this year on Playstation 4, Xbox One Nintendo Switch and PC.

The Steam page for the game is now live and can be viewed here:

ANOTHER SIGHT is a surreal fantasy adventure with steampunk elements set in London in 1899, towards the end of the Victorian era. With an emphasis on culture and character, ANOTHER SIGHT focuses on the emotional development of the relationship between its two protagonists, Kit, a refreshingly intrepid teenager, and Hodge – a mysterious red-furred cat.

They meet in the darkness of a London Underground construction site, after Kit loses her sight when the tunnel she had been exploring collapses. They team up for an adventure into the unexpected, with Hodge proving himself to be an indispensable companion, upon whom Kit will come to rely. Kit and Hodge explore a surreal fantasy world, both together and separately, each using their own unique talents to make their way through compelling environments, and to solve intriguing puzzles.

Beneath London, in a world inspired by Neil Gaiman’s urban fantasy, Neverwhere, Kit and Hodge encounter a hidden society made up of the world’s greatest inventors and finest artistic minds, including Claude Monet, Nikola Tesla, Thomas Edison and other historical cultural icons.

Another Sight Gameplay Features:
EMOTIVE DRIVEN – A story about a girl and her cat companion on a journey beyond sight and the real. A tale of warmth and intrigue is woven throughout the adventure, touching on trust, companionship and losing what we take for granted. Innovative gameplay and a story of heart is galvanized by a soundscape given life to by a symphonic orchestra to accent memorable moments between Kit, Hodge and the journey they’re on.

MASTERS OF THE PAST - Throughout the journey, Kit and Hodge will meet virtuoso artists such as Claude Monet and other cultural historical figures from the past, learning more about the world and dangers it presents. Each encounter visually impacts the world, taking on aesthetics of each creative movement from the famous characters Kit and Hodge meet.

STORY WOVEN GAMEPLAY – Use the unique abilities of each character to help Kit and Hodge traverse the world and overcome environmental challenges. Kit and Hodge can split up to investigate different areas of the locale that the other may not be able to reach, with both Kit and Hodge perceiving the world in very different ways, opening up different possibilities for overcoming their adventure.

ANOTHER SIGHT launches in 2018 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

Founded in 2016 by CEO Marco Ponte, Lunar Great Wall Studios aims to combine expertise, creative talent and technology to create truly innovative, emotive games.

August 1st, 2018 – MuHa Games, Polish-British indie developer and creator of Thea: The Awakening – the well-received hybrid of 4x strategy, RPG, survival and card game, has provided updated information on the launch of the sequel for this title, Thea 2: The Shattering.

After a successful campaign on Kickstarter, Thea 2: The Shattering is drawing its development cycle to a close. In September the beta version for backers (pledge £15 and more) will appear on the Steam platform. The game will be launched as Early Access title later this autumn, in November. The full game launch is scheduled for the first quarter of 2019.

MuHa Games will also be attending Gamescom 2018 in Cologne representing a selection of Polish developers chosen by the Indie Games Poland Foundation for the Polish national booth. The new gameplay for Thea 2: The Shattering will be presented during the fairs.

Thea 2: The Shattering will once again propose a unique blend of 4X turn strategy, RPG, survival and card game with an original dark fantasy setting inspired by Slavic myths and culture. Thea 2 also offers atmospheric graphics and music, perfectly illustrating the Slavic background of the narrative. Thea 2 will have a co-op multiplayer mode, free DLC content, adventures editor and modding tools.

“We're getting pretty excited as we near the finish line on GRIP,” said Chris Mallinson, Game Director. “It's been surreal to see this passion project evolve into the intense combat racing experience that players will soon be able to dive into."

GRIP: Combat Racing will see racers hurtling their way around 22 breath-taking tracks across a variety of hostile and foreign worlds, driving one of 15 armoured cars - some swift and agile, while others are brutish and heavily armoured. Players must be merciless; deploying a bristling arsenal of 9 outlandish weapons and power-ups to give them the advantage to take the lead against other fierce competitors. These weapons will allow players to not only target other cars, but also the destructible environments surrounding them.

Inspired by the Rollcage games of the late 90s and backed by a highly-skilled and accomplished team, which includes Rollcage programming veteran, Robert Baker, GRIP: Combat Racing celebrates the re-emergence of blindingly fast arcade combat racers, offering a true, wheel-gripping racing experience - where utter destruction serves one true purpose: be the first to cross the finish line.

Taking full advantage of the current generation of gaming hardware – and benefiting from the potential that comes with building on Unreal® Engine 4, the game accelerates ahead of the racing crowd by offering players gravity-defying physics reaching speeds of over 767 mph - making it the fastest racing game on four wheels. Along with the breakneck speeds and intense action, players will generate countless unforgettable gaming moments – online or offline – with split- screen races and tournaments. Born of the age of street racing, and losing none of its cut-throat nature, it’s not enough to just cross the line in GRIP: Combat Racing; more important is how you got there and how much destruction you have unleashed upon your rivals along the way.
