The Outer Worlds - What is The Outer Worlds Trailer | PS4

The Outer Worlds is a new single-player first-person sci-fi RPG from Obsidian Entertainment and Private Division. In The Outer Worlds, you awake from hibernation on a colonist ship that was lost in transit to Halcyon, the furthest colony from Earth located at the edge of the galaxy, only to find yourself in the midst of a deep conspiracy threatening to destroy it. As you explore the furthest reaches of space and encounter various factions, all vying for power, the character you decide to become will determine how this player-driven story unfolds. In the corporate equation for the colony, you are the unplanned variable.

The player-driven story RPG: In keeping with the Obsidian tradition, how you approach The Outer Worlds is up to you. Your choices affect not only the way the story develops; but your character build, companion stories, and end game scenarios. You can be flawed, in a good way: New to The Outer Worlds is the idea of flaws. A compelling hero is made by the flaws they carry with them. While playing The Outer Worlds, the game tracks your experience to find what you aren’t particularly good at. Keep getting attacked by Raptidons? Taking the Raptiphobia flaw gives you a debuff when confronting the vicious creatures, but rewards you with an additional character perk immediately.

This optional approach to the game helps you build the character you want while exploring Halcyon. Lead your companions: During your journey through the furthest colony, you will meet a host of characters who will want to join your crew. Armed with unique abilities, these companions all have their own missions, motivations, and ideals. It’s up to you to help them achieve their goals, or turn them to your own ends. Explore the corporate colony: Halcyon is a colony at the edge of the galaxy owned and operated by a corporate board. They control everything... except for the alien monsters left behind when the terraforming of the colony’s two planets didn’t exactly go according to plan. Find your ship, build your crew, and explore the settlements, space stations, and other intriguing locations throughout Halcyon.

Lost in transit while on a colonist ship bound for the furthest edge of the galaxy, you awake decades later than you expected only to find yourself in the midst of a deep conspiracy threatening to destroy the Halcyon colony.

As you explore the furthest reaches of space and encounter a host of factions all vying for power, who you decide to become will determine the fate of everyone in Halcyon. In the corporate equation for the colony, you are the unplanned variable.

Uragun is a hardcore top-down shooter with a pinch of tactical combat. The player must outsmart and outshoot hostile swarms of AI-controlled machines, in levels designed to reflect the layouts of various major cities from real-life across the world. Uragun allows players to take control of a heavily armed mech suit tasked with eliminating waves upon waves of super smart AI bots swarming the streets of New York, London, Berlin, Moscow, Beijing and Warsaw.

Check out the all-new trailer:

The game's lead designer Jacek WesoÅ‚owski was one of the creative minds behind such acclaimed titles as Bulletstorm and Hard Reset. This machinic menace is controlled by a unique, dynamic AI, without any predetermined actions and set pieces. According to the developers, the players will face a large, varied enemy roster – each bot will utilize different tactics corresponding to its abilities and armaments, as well as dynamically modify its behavior in response to environmental conditions.

Grid Review

Grid is a hyperbolic brand of high-contact, Hollywood-style circuit and street racing delivered with style and confidence. Reviewed by Luke Reilly on PlayStation 4. Also available on Xbox One and PC.

Call of Duty: Mobile Review

Call of Duty: Mobile reviewed by Kyle Hilliard on iOS, also available on Android.

Call of Duty: Mobile represents the best the juggernaut franchise has ever been on a handheld platform. The leveling path is rewarding, even without spending money, and there are lots of modes to jump around between, including an impressive battle royale mode. Unfortunately, it is still a shooter controlled by a touch-screen with no bluetooth controller support - even if it's impressive despite that, the accuracy and usability will still never be as good as its console and PC counterparts.

Close to the Sun Game Preview - Xbox One

Close to the Sun is a first-person story driven horror game, already released for PC, it is released on consoles at the end of October. I got my hands on a Xbox One preview code thanks to the good people at Wired Productions, and I played the first 3 chapters.

The game is set in an alternative 19th century, where Nikola Tesla achieved much of what conspiracy theorists claimed he was stopped from doing, and he has indeed changed the world.

Visually the game will instantly remind you of Bioshock, but the game plays very different. You control a journalist called Rose, and you find yourself aboard Tesla's huge scientific vessel the Helios after receiving a message from her sister Ada.

Close to the Sun is a first person horror game, and leaves you completely immersed in a world whereby you have to explore and solve mysteries, all the whole surrounded by what can be a very scary environment.

The game itself although lacking in some gameplay areas, this is very much an examine everything and follow the storyline type of game. The game plays more like a way to better understanding Tesla, his mind, his motivations, all the way finding yourself terrified by the set pieces. And the jump scares will get your heart pounding.

The puzzles you solve are on a fair learning curve, with the earlier puzzles being quite simple, and as you progress through the game they slowly get harder and really test your memory skills. And I do enjoy these types of games, and I am the kind of person who really tries to follow every aspect of the story and take it in, not to mention my handy notepad I always have with me to help me with the puzzles.

Close to the Sun is a horror game, it is not for kids, this is a challenging game at time, but I am sure by the time you complete it you will feel a great sense of accomplishment, not only at beating the game but by feeling a part of the game and understanding better what Tesla could have been.

I look forward to getting my hands on the final game.

Close to the Sun is available now on the Epic Games Store and set to release later in 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

Watford, UK – October 2, 2019 – Award-winning global publisher, Wired Productions, and acclaimed Italian studio, LKA, have announced Martha is Dead, a dark psychological thriller tipped for release in 2020.

Following its debut title, The Town of Light which released in 2016, Martha is Dead continues LKA’s signature style of deep multi-layered narratives combined with real locations and a mix of history, superstition and psychological distress. LKA's expertise for delving into complex and riveting subject matter that borrows from both fact and fiction helps to distinguish its development pedigree and passion.

Her twin sister, the young daughter of a German soldier must deal with the acute trauma of loss, while the truth of the brutal murder is shrouded by mysterious folklore and the extreme horror of war draws ever closer.

Along the way, she will encounter situations and discover things no one should have to… mortal death was the easy path compared to this one marred by mental and emotional distress which lingers on.

Currently in development, Martha is Dead is set to arrive in 2020 with further details, including platforms, to be announced.
