State of Mind - Launch Trailer

Berlin, 2048 – The world is on the brink. Lack of resources, illnesses caused by polluted air and water, crime on the rise, war. Governments and companies promise remedies through technological progress. Drones and humanoid robots replace humans in the public sector, everything is interconnected, surveillance has become omnipresent.

The luddite organization “Breakpoint” opposes these developments. According to them, the transhumanist dreams of the rich and powerful will lead to a nightmarish dystopia: Two-class society, civil unrest, the end of biological humanity. “Breakpoint” is no longer content with being an underground hacker organization – they are armed and ready for an uprising.

What will the world look like after this storm, what will remain of humanity?

New trailer reveals that sci-fi adventure ‘Elea’ launches on 6th September

Rotterdam, The Netherlands - August 13, 2018 - The first episode of surreal sci-fi adventure Elea will launch into the galaxy on the 6th of September. Elea is coming to Xbox One and Steam® and is already available for pre-order on Xbox One.

Visit the Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/812020/rda

Inspired by the classics
Kyodai, the developer of Elea, got the inspiration for the game’s narrative from the books of classic sci-fi writers such as Stanislaw Lem, Arthur C. Clarke and Frank Herbert. Being big fans of story-driven first-person games, they asked themselves at the early stages of development what innovation Elea could offer to the genre besides its unique and touching story.

They noticed that many first-person adventures offer just one main distinct location, with one specific visual style. Inspired by their love of old-school platformer games, they decided to take a completely different approach for Elea. In classic platformer games the environments can vary from a lava level to a snow level, followed by a jungle level for example. The developers wanted to give Elea this same incredible variety in surroundings, to make it feel like an enormous journey through time and space.

A rising star
Elea already launched into Early Access on Steam® at the end of April. SOEDESCO’s community manager Marten Buijsse states: ‘’Thanks to the community’s enthusiasm and help, we have been able to finish and fine-tune the game based on their wishes and good advice. We are now confident that we can present Elea in its best form for the full release on Xbox One and Steam’’.

Lineage 2: Revolution August Update - The Academy Clan

LONDON – August 9, 2018 - Netmarble Corporation, the fastest-growing mobile game company worldwide, today launched an update for its hit mobile MMORPG, Lineage 2: Revolution (http://l2.netmarble.com), introducing the Academy Clan – a tutorial for new and veteran players that guides players through the Clan system and helps them achieve victory.

Players level 10 through 180, who have yet to join a Clan, can join the Academy Clan to play through the full Academy Clan tutorial. Those who are part of the Academy Clan are able to stay a member until they reach level 181, at which point they will graduate and be recommended to join a player-led Clan. Players are also freely able to leave and register for the Academy Clan at any time.

To celebrate the new tutorial, three new Clan-specific events will be held from August 8 to August 29. The “For the Clan! Event” will offer special rewards including R-grade Armour Boxes, R-grade Mount Equipment Boxes and Radiant Upgrade Stone Selection Boxes to all players in Clans, including new Academy Clan players, after they have completed a series of Clan-specific missions. When members of a Clan donate items to their fellow members, they will also receive 1.5x more Adena than usual via the “Clan Check-In and Donation Reward Event.” A new “Clan Penalty Period Decrease Event” will also lessen the penalties of leaving and rejoining Clans during the event period, so players will have a chance to try out a variety of Clans.

A new Equipment Collection feature has also been introduced, where, by collecting specific Attribute Equipment through their time in the game, players will receive additional rewards and stats that will strengthen their character.

The Tower of Insolence will also now go up to 120 floors through the latest in-game update. All players will receive 500 Red Diamonds when they reach the 120th floor by August 29. Players can also compete to reach the 120th floor first during the “Tower of Insolence World’s First Clear! Event” from August 8 to August 29. The first 10 players from each server to clear the 120th floor of the Tower will be rewarded with Blue Diamonds. The first-place finisher will receive 5,000 Blue Diamonds, the second to fifth place finishers will receive 2,000 Blue Diamonds, and sixth to tenth place finishers will receive 1,000.
