Ride 3 - Race at 60 FPS | PS4 Pro
Here’s why developers at Milestone strived to reach 60 FPS on PS4 PRO for their motorbike racer. And the result looks wonderful.
If your father owned a motorcycle when you were a little kid, chances are that you went absolutely crazy with excitement when riding on the back of his bike, amazed by the wonders of the world passing by at full speed. And if you followed his footsteps by being a biker yourself, you know one thing: that sense of wonder has not changed a single bit now that you’re an adult.
And while building RIDE 3, we knew one thing: we had to find a way to recreate that very same sense of wonder in the game. Luckily enough, PS4 PRO and Xbox One X made our life easy (well, a bit easier, at least), since they’re the perfect platform to run the game at 60 frames per second. Have a look at it yourself.

REVIEW: Forgotton Anne
Review: By Jon Donnis
Forgotton Anne is a cinematic 2D adventure platform game.
Once again I find myself reviewing a game that is hand animated and truly stunning to watch while you play.
The game takes place in the Forgotton Lands, a magical land where anything that has been forgotton or lost has come to life as Forgotlings, so that might be a old sweater or a table lamp, literally anything.
We play as Enforcer Anne, her job is to keep order in the Forgotton Lands, she must fight against a rebellion and find her master "Bonku" so they can return to the real world.
In the Forgotton Lands there is an energy called Anima, this powers everything, and without it everything dies, Anne can control this Anima energy, and use it to solve puzzles. She can even absorb it from Forgotlings, although that does seem a bit cruel.
At it's base this game is a mixture between point and click and platformer, but it does have such a cinematic feel. And there is no doubt that the game is possibly more about the story than it is the gameplay.
Even from the first scene you realise that the choices you make will affect the dialog and decisions later in the game, so you can choose to play as a friendly or more strict character. And there are multiple endings that will be determined by your actions.
The puzzles themselves are nothing too hard, and it comes down to pulling levels, or changing the direction that Anima flows through pipes to get you through to the next section, or solve whatever problem you have.
Sadly there is not much variety to the puzzles, but like I said earlier this game is more about the story than the gameplay, and that is not necessarily a bad thing.
I thoroughly enjoyed Forgotton Anne, and although repetitive at times, I never felt bored or left out.
I give this game a very strong 7/10
Review: By Jon Donnis
The game is available now on Nintendo Switch with a 10% discount for one week (9th – 16th) November, regular price: £15.99/$19.99/€19.99).

REVIEW: TSIOQUE Available on PC/Steam
Review by Jon Donnis:
Tsioque is a classic point and click adventure in the style of Dragon's Lair or King's Quest. Everything has been hand animated, frame by frame, and throughout the game it truly is a wonder to see how beautiful the game is.
We play as Tsioque, a Princess who has been imprisoned in a castle run by the Evil Wizard. Yes I know it is not very original, but that really doesn't matter.
You start off as previously mentioned imprisoned, and you quickly realise that you need to escape, so you will move the cursor around and try to find things to interact with that will help you.
Throughout the game you have to solve puzzles, some harder than others, whether it is something as simple as moving blocks to open a chest, or finding a way to avoid the guards. The game does move along at a decent pace, and there are some funny moments that will surely amuse even the most hardened of gamer.
I finished the game in just about 2 hours, so it is not a long game, but it is a fun one, and despite one little hiccup where I couldn't figure out how to wave a wand properly, I never felt left out of the game, or too frustrated. There are some moments where you need to pay attention, as just clicking everything, or trying things in every order either wont work, or would just take forever, so the game does take some skill.
There is a nice little twist and reveal upon the games completion, which really is lovely.
If you like point and click adventures, you should love this game. It is beautiful to watch, wonderful to play, and the music is also really lovely.
If you are unsure, play the demo first, and I am sure you will end up buying the full game.
This game started out as a dream on Kickstarter, and quickly raised enough funds to be completed. It is a true indy game, and we should all try to support independent game developers, who often do what they do for the love of gaming.
Although short, I really cant recommend this game enough, I absolutely loved it.
I score this 9/10. Just wish there was more of it.
