REVIEW: Clash Force on Xbox One

Review by Jon Donnis
I was sent a copy of Clash Force on Xbox One by the nice people at Ratalaika Games S.L.

Clash Force is a classic, retro style shoot'em up. With 8 bit graphics, reminiscent of old Sega Master System platformers.

You have the bad guy, the "Evil Crackman" and his minions and your mission is to take control of the "Clash Force" to stop them.

There are 3 heroes to choose from, Voom, Scorpido and Echid. I prefer to play with Voom, no reason why, I just like him.

You battle your way through 20+ levels, set in different "worlds", Forest, Desert, Underground and Crackman's Flying Fortress.

As you play you will collect various weapon power ups, shields, and life hearts, and there are 3 difficulty settings.

It is pretty standard 2D Shoot Em Up platform action. If you play on the easy setting, the gamer points drop after each level, so for all you gamer point collectors, this is an easy 1000 gamer points for you.

The graphics are exactly what they should be, the sound effects also are exactly what they need to be. This game wont break any records, but it is a fun platformer that you can add to your collection. Starts off pretty easy, but gets nice and hard as you progress.

I score this game a solid 7/10
