Become a daring thief in City of Brass, a punishing first-person, Arabian Nights-themed adventure from senior BioShock developers. Armed with scimitar and a whip that can grab, trip, disarm, stun or shatter as well as swing, players will lash and slash, bait and trap their way through hordes of undead, making it to each level’s exit before the Sands of Time run out, collecting treasures and looting chests for weapon and armor upgrades or powerful relics on the way.

Players will have to leap across pits, slide under blades, avoid spears or arrows, evade or employ sprung paving slabs, and skirt round poison gas traps – all the while manipulating these dangers to their advantage against enemies.

Incarcerated within the city are genies, most of them friendly, who will barter benefits in return for loot or grant wishes for a powerful advantage

The rhythmic interplay between sword and whip is carefully tuned along with sprinting, crouching, sliding, leaping and vaulting to give a fluid, balanced and natural feel to the movement and melee. Eternal replayability is granted by a design that encourages combinative gameplay within an ever-changing but logical procedurally generated world. Players will die in the City of Brass – often, and quite horribly – but they will always want to come back for just one more try…

Description
Flynn, a young pirate, decides to begin a perilous quest in search for the most valuble of treasures: Captain Freckles’ sword. But, to his surprise, the sword is possessed by the old captain’s spirit. Now they’ll both have to face the dangers of the island and the curse that rests upon the treasure.

Flynn & Freckles is a third-person view, single player game with a great amount of exploration and combat. As Flynn we’ll need to deal with a series of platforms, puzzles and fight against loads of enemies.

F&F gives us the opportunity to enjoy, once again, of a 3D
platformer game, old school 90’s style, with a renewed artistic and technical approach, and all of it revolved around a fantastic pirate setting.

VR Fishing Game 'Catch & Release' gets release date

Frankfurt – May 2018 – Internationally renowned game services company METRICMINDS GmbH & Co. KG has

announced their first VR project called “Catch & Release”. The game will bring its brand of meditative, relaxed virtual reality fishing to the Steam & Oculus store on June 7th, 2018.

Catch & Release is a virtual reality fishing experience like no other - It combines the inherently relaxing activity of fishing on a lake with beautiful surroundings and game mechanics that take a step back to let the player enjoy their time on a virtual fishing trip freely and without stressful distractions like timers or forced missions.

The game features one of the most beautiful environments in VR, brought to life with dense nature, local fauna like geese and bears and diverse, interesting fishing spots and landscape features. The colourful art style supports the goal of immersing the player in a peaceful world free from stressful distractions that lets players decide the way they want to play the game.
