Award Winning Strategy Game, Skyworld, Launches March 26 for PlayStation VR
ROTTERDAM, NL – March 13, 2019 – Vertigo Games and Wolfdog Interactive have today announced that the award-winning VR strategy game, Skyworld, will be launching for PlayStation VR on March 26, 2019, adding new player-progress features. By melding turn-based strategy gameplay with real-time battle scenarios, Skyworld gives players the chance to control a kingdom at war in VR against friends online or within solo campaigns.
The launch of Skyworld on PlayStation VR brings all-new features into the mix, allowing players to champion their achievements in-game. With a persistent leveling system, players can earn XP in single and multiplayer matches and from daily challenges, with special avatars waiting to be unlocked. Competing online can win players a spot on the brand-new Skyworld PlayStation VR leaderboards.
Players control the tides of war with a unique hybrid gameplay system of turn-based management, deck building, and fast-paced, real-time battles. By harnessing a strategic combination of the 16 available units, Skyworld players can build a deadly and specialized army with everything from archers and snipers to siege tanks and flying fortresses.
Before conquering friends and foes online, players are invited to wage war in a full single player campaign and recruit an army for a royal conquest to defend the universe. Skyworlds have found prosperity thanks to the magical cores at their center, but demons seek to control that power for themselves. Players must outwit, out-manoeuvre and out-plan their opponents to save the realm once and for all.
Athena Arrives in League of Angels III
YOOZOO Games | 13.03.19
Although it’s unlikely the goddess Athena was ever partial to a pint of Guinness, League of Angels III’s latest Mythic Hero arrives just in time for another fantastic series of holiday events — including St. Patrick’s Day.
Debuting as a support angel can be a tough gig but with her special skills Divine Honor, Dignified Judgment and Constellation Shield, Athena is the strongest Support Hero in the game so far. The daughter of Asherah, sister of Johanna, and mother of Inanna, this powerful angel will be available in upcoming events — so seize your chance to get this new Mythic Hero.
St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated widely within League of Angels III and is also known as ‘Rebirth Day’; differing somewhat to real-life events, where a rebirth might be something more enthusiastic participants require the day after St. Patrick’s Day. Nonetheless, in-game, the holiday will see many angels donning their finest green costumes and holding huge feasts to celebrate.
League of Angels III will also have several other holiday additions to consider, with an all-new exclusive mount ‘Seat of Fortune’ and also new wings ‘Wings of the Fae' and outfit ‘Song of Life’ (available via Wheel of Fortune).
To join the celebrations head on over to the League of Angels III site to play the game.

REVIEW: Nice Slice for Nintendo Switch
Review by Jon Donnis
Kool2Play are back with another simple to play arcade game.
You have a super sharp knife, and endless amount of things to slice, and the smaller the pieces the higher the score, it really is as simple as that.
As you will have come to expect from Kool2Play the soundtrack is top quality, with a slow rhythmic beat that just helps you get into the game.
Obvious comparisons will be made to Fruit Ninja, but this game does have some differences, including the fact you can cut food into more than one piece.
As us slice at the food, a correct cut will add time, and a missed cut will take time off, so some skill is needed here as opposed to just endlessly trying to slice.
As you progress through the game, you collect coins which in turn allow you to unlock new things like new knives which have comic names like "Obi-Knife-Kenobi"
This is a simple game, if you enjoyed Fruit Ninja you will enjoy this. The only negative is that the controls can take a bit of getting used to, but once you do you will be flying.
A fun pick up and play arcade game that doesn't take too many brain cells to play.
I score this 7/10
