Elite Dangerous: Odyssey marks the birth of a highly anticipated new era for the long running definitive space simulation, allowing players to touch down on countless new planets powered by stunning new tech, and explore with unrestricted freedom from a first-person, feet-on-the-ground perspective.

Taking life on the frontier of space to new depths, Elite Dangerous: Odyssey’s emergent gameplay will let players forge their own path through a wide variety of missions, ranging from diplomacy and commerce to lethal stealth and all-out combat. Diverse settings, objectives, and NPCs will offer endless mission variety and a near infinite amount of content to enjoy.

Conflict will rage as players venture into Elite Dangerous: Odyssey’s intense combat experience. Coordinating with your teammates and selecting the right equipment for the mission at hand will be key to master a multi-layered, tactical sphere of group combat where Commanders, SRVs and starships converge.

Though the Elite Dangerous universe can be a cutthroat, unforgiving place, players can find solace and regroup in social hubs spread throughout the galaxy to plan their next contracts, form new alliances and even procure the coveted services of the Engineers. These public spaces are also the ideal place to acquire and upgrade weapons and gear to suit each Commander’s own gaming style.

Project Cars 3 - Official Announcement Trailer (4K)

Slightly Mad is back with Project Cars 3, a new entry into their popular racing simulator series. Project Cars 3 is coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC this Summer 2020.

‘Project Cars has always been pushing the limits in terms of graphical fidelity and we’re continuing to do so with the third one,’. ‘But the delta between games is lessening as the capabilities of the hardware increase. So this time round we’ve focused more on… almost the theatricality of motorsports.’ ‘We haven’t concentrated on making it a 100% accurate simulation of real life. We’ve added some interesting post-processing effects and motion blur and things like that, that are our attempts to make it feel more real in as much as you’re a racing driver in a bubble, with that tunnel vision, as you’re screaming down a track. ‘It’s all about role fulfilment, it’s not a 100% realistic po-faced simulation of what it actually looks like. We want a simulation of what it feels like’.

REVIEW - Castle Pals on Xbox One

I was sent a copy of Castle Pals by Ratalaika Games S.L. to review.

You play as either Kylee or Owen in this simple platform game. With Kylee you jump, punch and kick your way through the levels and with Owen you fly above your enemies. Set in "Castle Pookapick" which is an awesome name for a Castle! The game play is pretty simple. Get from point A in the level to point B. Do it within a certain set time and you earn a gold medal.

Of course it is never just that simple, there are traps to stop you, doors you have to figure out how to open. And of course enemies that want to kill you.

In total there are 40 levels, you will find yourself getting through the first half relatively quickly, but then slowly things get tougher and you suddenly realise that the game is not as easy as you first thought.

For Gamerpoint collectors you will very quickly collect these, which is always satisfying.

The game has a great old school feel, from the retro style graphics to the music.

This is a fun game, it really is as simple as that, a fun easy to enjoy platform game, that relies on game play first. And for a fraction under £5/$5/€5 on all formats you cant really go wrong.

Castle Pals is out now, and I highly recommend it. And I score it a strong 8/10
